To ensure that every guest enjoys their time at Sandy Shores please abide by all policies, enjoy our amenities, and we hope to see you soon

Amenities: WiFi, Cable TV, Fresh Linens and Towels, Outdoor Furniture and Grills, Seasonal Activities

Safety: Smoke Alarms, Carbon Monoxide Detectors, Regular Maintenance  

Parking: Limit 2 Cars per Cottage/Room

Pets: No Pets Allowed/Service Animals permitted in accordance with the law

Additional Guest: $50 per additional guest, subject to occupancy standards

Check-In/Out: Check-in 3 PM, Check-out 9 AM

Quiet Hours: Begin at 11 PM each evening

Payment: Check, Cash, Credit/Debit (3% fee), 12% Michigan State Tax applicable to all reservations

Cancellations: Our cancellation policy is a full refund with a cancellation 30 days before the check-in date.

Cancelations after the 30-day time limit are subject to approval.

Cleaning Fee: We reserve the right to add a $25 dollar cleaning fee to any single-night reservations

Prohibited: Fireworks, illegal drugs, smoking in any building or structure

(if you smoke outside please be courteous and discard your butts promptly)

Swimming/Beach Access: Beach fires are permitted, only in fire rings. Please do not move the fire rings, or leave fires unattended. Only use water to put them out – do not use sand! Swim at your own risk. There are no lifeguards on duty.

Returning Guests:

Sandy Shores is a special place because you spend your vacations here!  To our guests
who stay a week or more, we offer the same week the following year if possible.

Deposits are due no later than February 16th. We base our rates on in-season(last week in June through Labor Day).
New Guests:

Off-Season: After Labor Day through mid-June rates are discounted by 20% for cottages. Motels have set daily rates.
Discounted rates only apply to stays of three (3) days or more.

During the off-season, some cottages have a three-day minimum. 

We may make exceptions upon request.
In-Season: We rent cottages by the week. Weekly rates are discounted by 2 days.
Weeks run from Saturday to Saturday.
Cancellations: Our cancellation policy is a full refund with a cancellation 30 days before the check-in date.

Outside Guests:

Outside Guests are welcome, but to be considerate to all who are staying at Sandy Shores, we ask
that a maximum of 4 outside guests at any one time come to visit. If there is a situation you want
to discuss with us (a small birthday party, for example) let’s talk. We will indicate proper parking
for your guests based on availability. Outside guests should be off the property by 9:00.
