Policies
Please review the following information:
Safety
- Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in all accommodations.
- Regular maintenance ensures guest safety.
Parking
- Limit of 2 cars per cottage/room.
- If additional parking is needed, contact Joe at 906-280-0441.
Pets
- No pets allowed. Service animals are permitted in accordance with the law.
Additional Guests
- $50 per additional guest, subject to occupancy limits.
Check-In/Check-Out
- Check-In: 3:00 PM
- Check-Out: 9:00 AM
Quiet Hours
- Begin at 11:00 PM each evening.
Payment
- Accepted: Check, Cash, Credit/Debit (3% fee applies).
- 12% Michigan state tax is applied to all reservations.
- Payments can be made via Venmo at @Joseph/Berube/12
Cancellations
- Full refund for cancellations 30 days prior to check-in.
- Cancellations after the 30-day deadline are subject to approval.
Cleaning Fee
- $25 cleaning fee may apply to single-night reservations.
Prohibited Activities
- No fireworks, illegal drugs, or smoking in any building or structure.
- If smoking outside, please discard cigarette butts properly.
Swimming and Beach Access
- Beach Fires: Allowed only in fire rings. Do not move fire rings or leave fires unattended. Use water (not sand) to extinguish fires.
- Swimming: Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards on duty.
Returning Guests
- Guests staying a week or more are offered the same week the following year, if available.
- Deposits are due no later than February 16th.
- Rates are based on in-season pricing (last week of June through Labor Day).
New Guests
Off-Season (After Labor Day through mid-June):
- 20% discount for cottages on stays of 3 days or more.
- Motels have set daily rates.
- Three-day minimum stay applies to some cottages (exceptions upon request).
In-Season (Last week of June through Labor Day):
- Cottages are rented by the week (Saturday to Saturday).
- Weekly rates are discounted by the equivalent of 2 days.
Outside Guests
- Visitors are welcome, with a limit of 4 outside guests at any time.
- If planning a small gathering (e.g., a birthday party), please discuss it with us beforehand.
- We will assign appropriate parking for outside guests based on availability.
- Outside guests must leave the property by 9:00 PM.
